FAG Aerospace has developed, in close cooperation with Rolls-Royce, within a very short time new main shaft bearings (high degree of integration, use of new materials) for the Trent 500 engine of the Airbus generations A340-500 and A340-600. Rolls-Royce is one of the largest engine manufacturers in the world.
