The new plastic axial washer

The new plastic axial washer has two functions:

• multi-stage sealing
• improved axial running

• Axial spring seal (3)

Axial Running

Improved axial running

• by optimum sliding contact surface with favourable friction coefficient and low grease consumption

Operating Life The improved axial running increase the mean operating life of the track roller when subjected to misalignment. Temperature Behaviour An evaluation of the temperature behaviour of titled bearings shows that the previous version without the axial plain washer maintains its temperature level until failure. The temperature level of the new track roller with the plasticaxial plain washer falls to a lower value after a running-in phase. This places less strain on the grease and extends the operating life. with plastic axial plain washer (A) without axial plain washer (B)
